Who I Work With

Adults navigating anxiety, grief, transition, burnout, or a season that no longer feels like their own.

Partners working on communication, trust, repair, and finding their way back to one another.

Families under strain, in conflict, or moving through change together.

Young people facing anxiety, identity, school difficulty, behavior concerns and social pressure.

Younger children and their parents, with care shaped to the child and the family around them.

Men addressing stress, anger, fatherhood, relationships and the weight carried quietly for years.
My Approach
Therapy works when a person feels genuinely met.
My work is grounded in presence. Before technique, before any framework, there is the question of whether you feel heard. I bring twenty six years of clinical experience across private practice, schools, hospitals and residential care, and a belief that people already carry more wisdom about themselves than they have been given room to express.
Sessions are collaborative and paced to you. We look at what is happening now, what it connects to, and what you would like to be different. For some that means practical tools between sessions. For others it means slower work on patterns that have been in place a long time.
I draw on trauma informed and family systems practice, and where it fits, expressive and reflective writing through the Write To Heal process. The method is chosen for the person, never the other way around.

If it feels right, we schedule and start at a pace that works for you.
Questions
Yes. I am currently accepting new clients, in person in Sandy Springs and virtually across Georgia. Reach out by email or phone and we will find a time to talk.
Yes. I work with couples on communication, trust, conflict that keeps repeating, life transitions, and reconnecting after a period of distance. Sessions focus on how each person experiences the relationship, and on building a way of speaking to one another that holds up outside the room.
Yes. Much of my career has been spent with children and adolescents, including in schools, self contained classrooms, residential treatment and hospital settings. I work with anxiety, behavior concerns, school difficulty, identity, grief and family conflict, and I involve parents at a level that fits the child.
Yes. Parents often reach out before deciding anything. An initial conversation can help you sort out what you are noticing, whether therapy is the right step, and if so what kind. There is no obligation to schedule beyond that.
Yes. I work with men on stress, anger, fatherhood, relationships, career pressure, grief and the experience of carrying a great deal without a place to set it down. Many men arrive having never spoken about these things directly.
The first session is a conversation. You describe what brings you in and what you hope changes. I ask questions to understand the context. Together we decide whether we are a good fit and what a reasonable next few sessions would look like. You do not need to prepare anything.
Yes. Sessions are available both in person in Atlanta and virtually for clients located in Georgia.
It depends entirely on what you are working through. Some people come for a focused period around a specific situation. Others stay longer for deeper work. We revisit this together rather than committing to an open ended course at the outset.
Yes. Sessions are confidential and protected by law, with narrow exceptions required of all licensed clinicians, including risk of serious harm to yourself or another person and suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult. I explain these fully in our first session.
Please reach out directly to discuss current fees, insurance and out of network options. I am happy to answer this before you schedule.
